Registrations are now open to trial for TGFC's 2025 Football Queensland Academy League (FQAL) and second teams for U11 to U18 (Boys), U11 to U17 (Girls) and U8 to U10 (Mixed).
TGFC is currently a Tier 2 Football Queensland Academy League Club. Consistent with our Strategic Plan we are aiming to be assessed during 2025 for Tier 1 status.
TGFC currently participates in FQAL 1 for U11 Girls, FQAL 2 for U13 to U17 Girls, FQAL 3 for U10 to U12 and FQAL 4 for U13 to U18 Boys. We also have Kangaroos teams across U8 to U12. Metro teams cover all ages from U13 to U18.
Our programs for 2025 will be overseen by qualified and experienced technical directors, including our new club Technical Director, John Kosmina, who holds an AFC Pro Licence. In the FQAL teams, all coaches will have a minimum C Diploma coaching qualification.
Trials will be held to select our first (FQAL and Kangaroo for U8 and 9) and second (Metro or Kangaroo) team in each age group.
Trials will be held at The Gap State School (TGSS) and Des Connor Park, Ashgrove (DCP).
